I though I would sign up to the forum. I can read Polish OK speak OK but written is very poor. i Lived in tricity for 12 years Warszawa for about 1 year. I now live back in England.

This is my 1987 126 Brown
Mods are: black vinyl interior, electric Facet pump and regulator valve, Chrome bumpers and Bullet mirrors, MG roof rack

Hi friend, you've very nice car, it's must by England special edition,I never saw that mirrors, and that roof rack is imposible in polish normal edition,the Chrome bumpers was only to about 80's year, after that was plastic P4 bumpers.Realy nice car, don't change it, it's very good car.Welcome on this site friend;-)))

126 Brown

Brown should look like tkis:

I think this is stock 126FL export and name "brown" is a mistake in documents.

Brown is the model, not the colour. Colour is scuro rosso.

In the UK 126 brown came in many colours. We also had the 126 black and silver.

The car was Polish made, but i changed the Bumpers for Chrome. Changed the mirrors for Bullet mirrors (look good but they are not good so see anything behind you).

The roof Rack is from a MG sports car they fit on the boot.

The car was also fitted with a pop open sun roof.

hey your fiat is very nice, but you don't have oryginal bumper, you shoud wear a P4

I know and I write about it. This is not 126 Brown. In 1980 FSM started to produce limited versions of 126 - "Red", "Brown", "Silver" and "Black". This models have some unique parts like parts of interior, older dashboard than your, older rim cap grey P4 bumpers and borders (except "Silver", it has black bumpers and borders), darken windows and stripe label around the car and label with name of model, and sometimes sunroof.

so I'm still claiming that you have 126 FL export and it doesn't matter you changed the bumpers, because your car is younger than Red/Brown/Silver/Black series and have only one part typically for "Brown" - front seats.

But it's very good looking 126FL.

The rubbing strips were removed, and holes welded. Interior in now different to those in the pictures, I now have black vinyl.

The paperwork for the car from New was registered as a brown. many many UK 126s are registered as a brown.
